Even in times of panic, frustration, and strange activity. The Olympics are a sight to see.
The Rio 2016 Olympics have come and gone (gah-damn already?!). It was fun while it lasted from watching events such as track & field, to soccer, to fencing, and to even the all-time great event, track cycling! For over two weeks, the Rio Olympics have given us moments of brilliance, dominance, kindness, and trolling. Not enough crying Jordan photoshops however. Which makes me a bit disappointed. With that said, there are so many thoughts and takeaways one could generate from these Olympic Games. Too many to count for one person. So the AD report staff (me, myself, and I) went around a recruited some of the most talented, smartest, controversial, and humorous people around to help us deliver on a lot of these takeaways and thoughts on these games (and hot takes, there will be hot takes). Here is the AD report’s 43 takeaways & thoughts on the 2016 Rio Olympics. Each of them will be no longer than four sentences and if you decide that these are too hot for you to continue then I apologize for you missing out on what you need to read! This list will be healthy for your mind, body, and soul. So without further ado, (cracks knuckles, sips water, smiles) let the games begin.
Sending a big shoutout to those who helped the staff (me) out with this piece! Follow them on Twitter and in addition to thanking them for their service, but let them know how you feel about their commentary! They’re good/smart guys and again, I thank them for their help! See y'all in 2020 for the Tokyo games! @TheCSPod (ON) @Francisadujr (FADU) @brownasthenight (AP) @_Symonds_ @IamHarshDave (HD)
